Shaft sizes covered are 5/64", 3/32", 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2". Manufactured from full hard 300 series stainless for strength and corrosion resistance. 100% made in the USA of DFARS compliant steel. Used originally to go between the inner race of a bearing and the shaft support, they have evolved into a tight tolerance precision shim used in electronics, industrial, and power transmission applications. Fast ship works well for my turbo wastegate. Would be great if sold as a kit w var sizesI purchased this set of washers to shim a rifle scope mount that was giving me trouble to zero due to not having enough elevation adjustment. due to the consistent/thin size of the washers it was easy to space the scope up until it was perfect with the scope optically centered at 100 yards. I checked a few of the washers with a pair of calipers. All of the ones I checked were dead on. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star was the packaging of the actual product. It's just in a little plastic bag (heat sealed) and a few of the washers came bent. For this application that wasn't a huge deal to me but if you care that they are perfectly flat its going to be hard to keep a 0.001" thick washer flat in a plastic bag.These shim washers were exactly what I needed and the price was 70% less than I found anywhere else.Successfully use these to shun several parts, including and upper and lower. They reduced the play significantly on multiple projects. Couldn’t find these sizes anywhere else as fast as I could on amazon. Totally awesome! Would recommend!If you are looking to adjust the rotation of a muzzle attachment with a 1/2-28 thread that seats flat on the barrel, this is what you are looking for. Like when the porting on the attachment is supposed to point in a specific direction, like on a compensator or brake, and does not point in the correct direction when torqued down. A 28th of an inch is 36 thousands of an inch, so a 1 mil thick washer adjusts by 1/36th of the rotation or 10 degrees. It is 13 degrees on a 1/2-36 thread.What can I say. It's a washer.... The .005" spec measured a true .005". Can't get much better than that. If you're using these to shim AR15 receivers, you might want to also get the .003" shims.perfect for muzzle device shims, more cost effective than shim kits if you use enough of them.Exactly what I needed. Measured exact with my calipers.
