I purchased this item because I was taking her to the vet. It was easy to clean the hair after she was fixed. Because it's all plastic, I placed a cushion inside for her comfort. It sits on the windosw sill, and she uses it fkr sleeping and stands on it for a better view of outside. She closes the gate when she wants privacy when she sleeps. And I can easily put the seatbelt through the handle when traveling in the car.These are fairly inexpensive and work for what we needed them for. However, long term, they just won't hold up. All of the parts are plastic and eventually the plastic wears down. I think they are worth the price though.It’s hard to rate comfort when I don’t fit inside. Overall the only bad thing is the way the door latches. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.My cat likes itSuper easy to assemble and use.Carrier is lightweight.I wanted that.My Chihuahua fits in(XS) it with room to spare.Great airflow through carrier.Unfortunately, the door falls off.Door is also difficult to open.One thinks “Ok, two latches on the same side, flip them directly forward and the door should open.”Nope.The door latches aren’t that simplenor is it easy to see when when they are open.They are, however, made of soft plastic.The weight of my 2 pound dogpushing up against the fully latched(Checked with a flashlight) door,caused the door to POP off dramatically.Not once.Not twice.Three times is one afternoon.Upshot, if you have a tiny dog that needs an unsecured sleeping cave,this will likely be a great choice.If you need something with a functioning and secure door?Sorry, you haven’t finished shopping.The design is fine, but the door has a problem… be careful when placing the kitty inside thinking the door will be a fast close, or stay closed… needs a different design on the door that works!This is a cheaply made, low quality item. I wouldn’t use this for travelling because it won’t hold your pet. It barely held together and was very precarious when I tried to carry my 2lb puppy. I ended up just using it as a kennel until my puppy grew too big for it. We decided it was too unsafe to carry with our pet inside but it was okay if kept on the floor. The door is a pain to use.This a a cute cat carrying case. I would onlyuse it for visits to the local Vet. The case is all made of plastic and does not feel verysturdy. The handle is not easy to use, quite hard on the hands. I will pad it out with a blanket so she will be comfortable. Do notrecommend.Wow! it arrived less than 24hrs!! It has great colours and perfect choice for moving a puppy from point A to B. However it is not steady enough for multiple handling and its handle is not friendly.We used a kitty carry bag for a while but I think it made her feel very vulnerable with no solid walls etc. This one is perfect!I would say you get what you paid for but I bought another carrier elsewhere for less money and was much better quality
