Hot-Dipped Galvanized Steel Carriage Bolt 1/2"-13 UNC - Pack of 5 for Outdoor Construction

Thick galvanizing in thread grooves makes the thread problem worse. Easy to cross-thread, and easy to ruin the first threads if you do. Lowest quality bolts I have seen recently. No nuts. But the only ones I could find this long.These are fine bolts - I prefer a bright finish zinc to these galvanized ones, but they are all right. The delivery was quick and got me out of a jam.Worked perfectly for repairing a wood swing set. I cut off the excess length as needed. (I needed three lengths, but just purchased these and cut to size after putting on the nuts.These bolts are not as described or as shown in the photo. The photo indicates that the threaded portion is greater than 50%.
