I wish the whole blanket had the pattern shown in the first picture. The center pattern gives me the creeps. It is hard to tell from the product pictures that the pattern changes, they are misleading.The center reminds me of snake skin. I am thinking of returning it. I ordered this blanket as a treat to myself, but instead it irritates me.This is a decent blanket, especially for the price. It was soft and fluffy. However, it is NOT a true red. It is burgundy. I had to return it.My favorite blanket. And I shamefully own dozens of throws. I've been on a search for the perfect throw my entire life, and I finally found it. Others were either too short, too narrow, not fuzzy enough, not warm enough, too warm,... the list is endless.This one covers my 5'7" body... it allows my to tuck my feet under the bottom of the blanket and pull enough that I can tuck it up under my chin, and there's enough on the sides that I can cocoon myself on both sides. No other throw manufacturer has ever managed to make a blanket that will do this.And the material... one side sooo sooo soft fleece the other velvety soft, it's like I'm sleeping under a cloud. I love my blanket. I will be buying More of these. My daughter has already tried to steal it. Sorry kid I'd give you anything I won except my blanket lol!!!This blanket is extremely soft and light to medium weight. Both sides of this blanket fell very nice and it is a very warm blanket. I bought it for my fiancé who is 5'3" but I see myself stealing it away from her often. As a 6' man I wish I would have gotten the larger size! My only concern with this blanket is that it got pressed between the sofa cushions and I went to tug it out and I started to hear ripping. I obviously immediately stopped and pulled it out more carefully, but I wasn't putting a whole lot of force on it. It just makes me question its longevity. I purchased a similar blanket last year which is already coming apart at the seams.The blanket has been fine with one wash, but I'll come back and update my review over time if need be.The fleece blanket was intended as a Christmas gift for my 84 year old mother but it seems she is losing it to my 84 year old father! Time to order a second one. I checked out the fleece in its original package (opened the plastic and felt inside) when it was shipped to me and found it incredibly soft and warm. When my mother told me how well it covered the both of them I was pleased I selected the larger size. I am very, very happy with the blanket, will order additional blankets as gifts and will recommend this product to family and friends. I went with the green/beige color but I would have liked the pink for my mom but I saw reviews where the color ranged from "Barbie" pink to rose pink. If it was guaranteed I would get the rose pink color I'd send my mother one tomorrow. Oh, and the very nice thing they said about it was that it was not "heavy". Only light-weight, super soft, warm and a great gift! JTVery soft and will keep you warm but a bit heavy for my taste and a bit short I am 5' 10" It doesn't cover from shoulders to toes.This was a surprise Christmas gift for my wife, who is sort of a blanket aficianado. Chicago winters can be brutally cold, and there is nothing better than watching tv or reading a book under a nice warm blanket during a snow stormy day. The best blankets give a feeling of luxury, and not too 'hot', and not super heavy, but still feel they have weight to them.I liked the reviews on this, and the blanket is now my wife's favorite. It is super soft on either side, it has some good heft to it, and is just warm enough so you're snug but not overheated on those colder days. In fact, my older children have often taken it and she has to go searching for it! After this experience I ordered one for my sister (She lives in upper Michigan which is even colder than Chicago). She loves it too. This is just a great quality blanket and I highly recommend it.I have been using two blankets and a jacket to keep warm during my kidney dialysis. The aircon at the centre is freezing cold. I am glad this blanket alone can keep me warm now.
