The aluminum round spacer has a plain finish and is made in USA. Aluminum provides corrosion resistance, is lightweight, and has good electrical conductivity. The material is nonmagnetic.Spacers are unthreaded tubes that separate, space, or connect components within a system to ensure proper placement. Round spacers (also called clearance spacers) are the standard shape, while hex and square styles have flat sides that can be gripped with a wrench or pliers. After having applied new Vinyl Siding installed to my home, there appeared to be a large area just below the peak of the roof that just looked 'bare'. I purchased a 'Compass' measuring 41 inches in diameter, and used these spacers/standoffs to minimize surface contact with the siding. They worked just as I imagined (in other words... perfectly.)I used these to lower the keyboard tray on my desk some to accommodate my Kinesis keyboard which is taller than the average keyboard. Worked like a charm.I installed a 2014+ bumper on my 2005 GMC Sierra HD - and I needed a spacer to tie the bumper to the frame.I ordered 2 of these and they fit great.I did have to trim them a bit - but that was no big issue with a cut off wheel.The spacers completed my project and look great!Good product, but are too expensieve for what they are.Ok, getting excited over an aluminum spacer . . . true enough.
