Insulation is thicker than expected. It makes the wire seem larger than the AWG rating. However, it is still 22 AWG. Other than that the wire is fine.I ordered this product for use in test circuits after checking its numbers online. Was expecting solid core wire as much of the wire this size is solid core but the ul1015 specification says it can be either solid or stranded. Its good quality wire just not what I wanted.I haven't used it yet and have nothing to compare it to.It will work for the jobs I have in mine for it.I needed many colors for coding.I wish there was a way to secure the loose end. Other than that, absolutely perfect.Actually 20 gauge, not 22 gauge. The insulation is extremely thick, which may be a problem. It wasn't for me. Also note that the internal strands are not silver. They are actually tinned copper and conduct just as well as normal copper, if not better. I would certainly purchase this again. But I didn't read the size correctly and it too was too small for what I needed. But it too was a good deal.I was hoping for solid wire, but as you might have guessed, it's stranded. Still good wire; it strips very nicely.Frankly, sub par. Doesn't strip well. Very disappointing. Kind of misrepresented in the photos because the strands are silver in appearance (although I understand it's considered "tinned copper"). Had to go with an alternate that worked MUCH better: Stripped some Romex instead. Had the black I needed, the white I needed, and some extra ground wire. It was copper, solid, and stripped like a dream. Chances of buying this again is pretty much nonexistent. Actually, I just should have returned it altogether.is what it says!Very fast delivery. Good product
