We got this because our cats were absolutely ruining our new couch (should have shopped for covers sooner). After trying maybe 6 or 7 of all varying sizes or shapes, we landed on this one - the XL stretched enough to cover a chaise combo. Bought another L for the 3 seater side. It's a great color and feels fantastic (dare I say better than our actual couch material). Haven't washed yet, but I don't see why it'd be difficult to do. Wish there was an actual chaise version we could try rather than stretching the XL weirdly, but what can you do. We made it work and couldn't be happier with the results. Doesn't look tacky and allllmost matches the couch exactly.
